
The 13m gateway station is high –throughput (HTS) satellite ground application system , it is a mode connecting the satellite link and ground key network to ensure communication between the satellite communication network terminal and the internet terminal .
13m high-throughput gateway station consists of the Ka band antenna subsystem is mainly composed of RF equipment such as the Ka frequency band 13 meter antenna servo tracking subsystem, 1:2 TWTA sub system, 1:2 up conversion subsystem, 1:2 down conversion subsystem, and 1:2 LNA subsystem. RF equipment has redundant backup function, which can be manually or automatically switched. All antenna RF equipment are located in the antenna center body, which can access the M&C system provided by the user for centralized monitoring and management.
The 13m Ka band gateway station include the following:
1.Antenna subsystem
The antenna and RF subsystem are equipped with a 13m Ka band antenna, as well as tracking servo equipment such as ACU, ADU, and tracking receiver, to complete the transmission and transmission of wireless microwave signals and automatic satellite tracking of the antenna.
2.Uplink subsystem
The uplink of this subsystem includes equipment such as uplink equalizer, up converter (BUC), high-power amplifier (TWTA), etc.
3.Downlink subsystem
The Ka band downlink route consists of tracking branch LNA, tracking BDC, tracking receiver, ACU, ADU, and other equipment.
4.Business Channel
The downlink low noise amplifier and down converter are configured in a 1:2 manner, with two main devices each combined to receive satellite signals of different polarization through antennas.
5.Tracking channel
The antenna receives two different polarized Ka band beacon signals, selects one polarized beacon signal through a waveguide switch, and together with the signal from the service channel, sends it to the tracking receiver. The tracking receiver provides error information related to antenna orientation, elevation, etc. through calculation, and provides it to the ACU; ACU provides relevant antenna adjustment information to ADU based on the above error information; The ADU drives the relevant motor to complete the automatic tracking and alignment of the antenna.
6.Equipment monitoring
Each equipment in the subsystem (including each switch control mechanism) provides an Ethernet remote monitoring interface, which can be remotely connected to the RF monitoring system (M&C) through a switch (Hub) placed on the cabinet inside the RF box; Through the RF monitoring system, monitoring of subsystem equipment can be achieved.
